Masculine vs feminine. “What should I wear to the James Bond party?”, – asked me one of my clients the other day. “Red, black or a white dress?”. “Neither”, – I said and suggested to “rock” the evening in a tuxedo, worn with fitted pants and the best pair of stiletto’s.
I love masculine style and women who dare to wear it. To look feminine and elegant wearing a masculine piece requires a lot of self-confidence and fashion-conciousness from a woman. Everyone can create sex appeal by showing off her cleavage or pulling up a miniskirt, but very few women are capable of wearing a masculine suit and stand out.
However, if you get to know how to nail it – the men are all yours;) Remember Coco Chanel or Marlene Dietrich. They became the style icons and have stolen thousands of hearts just by wearing masculine suits. A beautiful woman who put herself on the same level with men – is a style statement. Just do not push your masculinity too far, there should always remain a detail, which speaks for your femininity outloud.
For this tomboy look I have chosen panelled jumpsuit and a pair of my favourite shoes this season (highly hated by my man)))). I would not recommend to dress like that for a date, but in any other occasion – you will definitely make a statement by this outfit. Tested by myself;)
Thank you, Steven Lemmens, for these shots, which are my favourite so far.
And bon weekend, my dear reader! X
